Best Answer: Helping out a relative w/ her installation and had the same problem. Not sure, but appears to be a workaround. Connect your Mio to your computer via USB. Click on the Tools at the top of the Mio Desktop program. Then click on 'Recover Keys'. There's an orange dot that appears beside the Activation tab which seems to sync up the keys. I already had the Mio connected when I installed the Software and the Lock beside the Activation was already 'unlocked' so I'm guessing it was already activated.
